Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024) gaming tablet with 165 Hz screen introduced!

The new model of the Lenovo Legion Y700, which Lenovo introduced last year and belongs to the company's gaming series Legion, was introduced today. The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024) was re-introduced with updates and new features.

Comes with 16 GB RAM and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

The 2024 model of the tablet series Legion Y700, which started last year and continues this year, was introduced with a new processor and advanced screen. The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024) comes with a screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 (WQXGA) and a pixel density of 343 PPI in a 16:10 ratio. This 8.8-inch screen also supports a 165 Hz screen refresh rate and 500 clear brightness. According to the company, the screen supports DCI-P3 wide color gamut with DeltaE<1 and high color accuracy.

The new Lenovo Legion Y700 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while this processor is accompanied by 12 and 18 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Lenovo's QianKun cooling architecture is used in this tablet made for gaming. The tablet has a 10,004 mm² vapor chamber to ensure proper heat dissipation.

According to Lenovo's statement, the tablet includes the Lingjing engine, a software that reduces touch latency in games by 32.2% and network latency by 45.8% and adjusts the usage source according to the application used. The tablet, which comes with a USB-C output, also supports USB-C Display Port. The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024) weighs 350g and carries a 6500 mAh battery. With this battery, according to Lenovo's tests, the tablet provides up to 8.9 hours of gaming and 14.6 hours of video playback. In terms of operating system, the tablet runs Android 14-based ZUI 16.1, designed for the Lenovo Legion.

The 12GB/256GB model of the Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024) is sold for $413, while the 16GB/512GB model is sold for $470. The 12GB/256GB model of the version with the Super Control Dynamic display is sold for $470, and the 16GB/512GB model is sold for $542. The Carbon Black model of the tablet is currently available for pre-order. Official sales will start on October 25. However, it is not yet clear when the Ice White model will be available for sale.
