MacBook Pro with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips enter production this month: Apple increases production capacity again in the second half of 2024
In a report published in May by famous Apple analyst Mark Gurman, the company announced that it will introduce three new Mac models with the standard M4 chip later this year. These models include the 14-inch entry-level MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac mini. However, it was stated that users should also expect to see models with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips during the same period.

Considering that Apple launched the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chips in October last year, the new MacBook Pro models with M4 chips are expected to be introduced in two months at the earliest.

In terms of performance, the M4 chip used in Apple's previously released iPad Pro model provided a 25% increase in multi-core CPU performance in Geekbench tests. Therefore, the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips are expected to offer similar performance and energy efficiency increases.

In terms of design, no major changes are expected in the next-generation MacBook Pro models. However, Gurman stated that Apple plans to make the MacBook Pro even thinner "in the next few years."
